What we need from you

With this we can give you a useful answer. If something is missing, write to us anyway and we will see what can be read.

The oscillography files of the trip (COMTRADE, IEEE C37.111: .cfg and .dat) or the event report from the relay.
The brand, the model and, if you have it, the relay's current settings file.
The bay single-line diagram or a description of the circuit: what the relay protects and where its CTs and VTs are.
What happened around the event: time, switching, weather, ongoing work or earlier alarms.

If you need more afterwards

Many analyses end there: the relay operated correctly and it is enough to understand why. When you need to go further, we can correct settings and logic remotely or carry out a protection coordination study. We quote it separately, with a clear scope.

What does a trip analysis cover?

The reading of the trip or blocking event: event report, oscillography and, if you send them, the current settings, with a technical conclusion based on the information we receive. Scope and price are confirmed in the quote.

What is not included?

Changing settings, connecting to your equipment or a protection coordination study. If you need them, we quote them separately with a clear scope.

Which brands do you work with?

The main brands of protective relays and recloser controls used in substations and industry. COMTRADE is a standard format, so we can read it regardless of the manufacturer.

What happens to my files?

We use them only for this analysis and do not share them with third parties. You can ask us to delete them when we finish.

Do you work outside Colombia?

Yes. The analysis is remote, so we can do it for companies anywhere in the world, in English or Spanish.
